The 8-week MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) course was developed at the University of Massachusetts by Jon Kabat-Zinn nearly 40 years ago.
The MBSR course is the most well-known and established mindfulness course, it is taught across the world, and is proven to help people to cope better with stress, depression, pain and anxiety.
This eight-week course uses a combination of experiential mindfulness practices as well as techniques of neuroscience and psychology and the study of well-being.
The 8-Week Mindfulness-based Compassionate Living is a wonderful course to deepen your practice further if you have already undertaken an MBSR, MBCT, Breathworks or similar course. The next one is beginning on 3rd October 2023.
